After nearly forty years of disrepair, the Old Catholic School, nestled in the picturesque village of East Lulworth has been refurbished into a wonderful gift shop and Internet café.
Originally built in 1877, the school finally closed its doors in 1968 when the new catholic school opened in Wool, 35 children were registered at the time, many of which still live in the village.
The building itself is a delight to look at, as the restoration has been in keeping with the original style of the building, including the replication of the huge church-style windows, which allow fantastic views over the scenic Dorset countryside, and only 500 yards from the historic Lulworth Castle.
